Damp & Mould Cleaning & Treatment
A three-stage initial damp and mould cleaning and treatment process, including a discounted survey and written report.

Visible mould is a sign that a surface has stayed damp enough for growth. Careful cleaning and treatment can improve the affected area, but lasting improvement also depends on understanding why excess moisture is present.
We tailor the treatment to the material, extent and underlying cause. A coating or chemical treatment is not presented as a universal cure for a leak, cold surface or inadequate ventilation.
When this service may help
- Black or coloured mould on walls, ceilings, windows or sealant
- Mould that returns after ordinary cleaning
- Local staining or a musty smell in one room
- A recently identified moisture source that needs the affected area made good
What we look at / do
- The affected material and extent of visible growth
- Whether moisture, ventilation, cold surfaces or a building defect need separate action
- Surrounding finishes and areas that need protecting
- Aftercare considerations once treatment is complete

We review the affected area and any relevant survey findings.
- 2
Prepare the area

Cleaning or treatment does not repair leaks, remove cold bridges or create ventilation. Hidden mould and moisture behind finishes cannot be confirmed without suitable access. We do not provide medical diagnoses or health advice.
What happens next
Tell us where the mould is and whether it has returned. We can advise whether a survey, a local treatment or work on the moisture source is the right first step.
Common questions
Not if the moisture condition remains. Surface treatment and cause-finding are related but distinct parts of solving the problem.
Yes, where the scope is suitable. We will still explain any wider moisture or ventilation issue that could affect recurrence.
A survey is particularly useful where the cause is unclear, recurring or may involve the building fabric.
